Terms of Service — Pitchwright

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pitchwright (the "Service"), provided by Kazzaz Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter binding contracts.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that violates the privacy or publicity rights of any third party.
• Upload imagery of public figures (including but not limited to royalty, heads of state, and senior officials) without verified permission. The approved-assets vault is intended for this purpose; uploads default to unapproved and you must explicitly mark them approved.
• Use the Service to generate misinformation, deepfakes, or impersonation content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, extract training data, or scrape model outputs at volume.
• Use the Service to compete directly with us (i.e., to build a competing presentation-generation product).

3. Your content

You retain ownership of:

• Source material you upload (Word docs, pasted text, images, brand assets).
• Generated decks.

You grant us a non-exclusive license to:

• Process your content through the agent pipeline (Researcher → Outliner → Designer → Critic → Refiner).
• Store your content in our database and object storage.
• Use anonymized, aggregated statistics about generations (e.g., average slide count, popular layouts) for product improvement.

We will not use your content to train third-party models.

4. AI-generated output

• The Service uses large language models (Claude by Anthropic) to produce content. Imagery in generated decks is drawn exclusively from assets you have uploaded and explicitly marked approved; the Service does not generate AI imagery. Output quality varies. You are responsible for reviewing every generated deck before sharing it externally.
• We do not guarantee accuracy. Decks may contain errors, omissions, or claims unsupported by your source material.
• We log generations and may inspect them for abuse investigations and platform safety.

5. Pricing & billing

Pitchwright is currently free for every team during the beta. No payment is required and no payment method is collected. Generations are subject to fair-use rate limits (per-user concurrency limits and a per-workspace daily generation ceiling) to protect platform stability.

Paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) will be introduced after the beta. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any plan begins to incur charges, and beta users will receive transition allowances. Continued use of the Service after a paid plan takes effect constitutes acceptance of the then-current pricing, which will be published at https://pitchwright.app/pricing.

6. Termination

• You may close your account at any time. Use the in-app "Delete account" action or contact us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.
• Upon termination we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Riyadh, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
